Resource Team Charter
The following are instructions for completing a Team Charter for a resource project. To download a Word template, click here. The file name is Team Charter Form.dot. - Enter the name of the team for the field “Team Name.”
- Enter the name of the team leader (if known) for the field “Team Leader.”
- Enter your name for the field “Submitted By.”
- Enter the current date for the field “Last Edited.” Be sure to update this field every time there is a major update.
- Enter the value “Project” for the field “Team Type.”
- The blue instructional text is provided to give you insight into what needs to be entered in the remaining headings. You can keep the blue text or delete it, the choice is yours.
- Follow these guidelines when filling out the Initial Team Roster.
- Enter the same name for “Team Leader” as you filled out on the first page.
- Nearly all resources produced by IHQ have the Director of IHQ as the Advocate.
- Leave “WMCT” as the Team Sponsor.
- Enter the name of the WMCT Key Stakeholder from activity Contact WMCT Member (110) in this space. It is also advisable to include the names for the Linkage Team Leaders. If you have other stakeholder groups, you may consider identifying someone to represent the stakeholder group (see sample below).
